ACTS is a non-profit agency that has been serving adults with disabilities in the Olivia, MN area for more than 50 years. Our goal at ACTS is to train and equip our clients for meaningful employment and provide an environment conducive to success.
Our program serves individuals who have a primary diagnosis of intellectual or developmental disability, brain injury or a related condition. ACTS serves individuals 18 years or older. Referrals are generally made by a person’s county case manager. A pre-admission meeting will then be held to determine appropriateness of placement in our program.

Our amazing Thrift Store is open Tuesday-Friday 9:00-6:00 and Saturday from 10-5.
Volunteers’ support is extremely important to the mission of our organization. Whether you are interested in volunteering for a one-time occasion, sharing a talent or friendship with clients or serving on a committee, we have many opportunities for people who are interested in volunteering.
Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age. Some volunteer opportunities may require a background study or further training.
Individuals served may either bring a lunch (we have microwaves if needed) or purchase a hot lunch. A hot lunch is served daily which is catered by Master’s Coffee Shop.
ACTS is licensed by the MN DHS to serve 50 people. We currently serve 46 individuals.
